About This Tournament

Welcome to the Grand Chess League 2026 - the inaugural chess tournament organized by the Global Telangana Association Utah Chapter! Whether you're a seasoned rated player or a beginner looking to compete, we have divisions for everyone.

This is a USCF-rated and casual tournament designed to bring together chess enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels from our community.

Tournament Divisions

Choose the division that fits your skill level. Time Control: G/30+5 for K-12 divisions, G/45+ for Open division.

Grades K-5: Rated

USCF membership required

Grades K-5: Unrated

Beginner/Casual players

Grades 6-12: Rated

USCF membership required

Grades 6-12: Unrated

Intermediate/Casual players

Open Division

4 Rounds for all divisions (based on number of registrations)
Swiss-system pairing
Time Control: G/30+5 (K-12), G/45+ (Open)
